163 Days: Okay, this is going way too fast.

It hasn’t even been a week yet, and numbering these posts as a countdown to HURT is making time seem to go way to fast. I may have to pull those off eventually. Anyway, yesterday I finally put in my registration for Peacock 100k in October. There were only 30-something spots open and the registration fee goes up in a few days so I figured I’d better bite the bullet and make it official. And, I’d be kicking myself all year if for some reason they spots all filled up quick.  There were so many entries into HURT, it wouldn’t surprise me if Peacock has a sudden flood of registrations too. Well, it’s official. I’ll be running that one again this year again.

There’s a big rain storm that’s supposed to be coming any day now. It used to be a hurricane but it’s weakened to a tropical storm. This morning I was debating in my mind whether I should run in wet shoes for the rest of the week or just rest. The storm was forecasted to be here by now but it’s beautiful outside. I guess I’ll get my run. I’m thinking an easy 8. Hmmm . . . maybe I should put some structure to my training. Too busy to think about that tonight. Time to make dinner for the family!
